In Matthew chapter 5 verse 30 Jesus tells us to "cut off our right hand if it causes us to stumble".....obviously he did not mean for us to actually cut our physical hand. He's telling those willing to listen to him, that not everything is acceptable in the eyes of God and that God has certain laws and requirements that have to be met if we want to be rewarded by him.

The apostle Paul outlines very clearly in Galatians chapter 5 verse 19-21 that  non-believers or BELIEVERS will NOT inherit the Kingdom of God if they PRACTICE (or live that lifestyle)  mentioned. So if anyone thinks that living life as they see fit is good enough in the eyes of God as long as they have accepted Christ Jesus in their lives, is fooling only themselves. God HAS standards and he expects those that worship Him to try to respect them.
